Magnus Falk has been with Saab since 1996, as he was assigned the role of procurement manager for the Propulsion System Package for the Saab regional Airliners..In 1998, he picked up an assignment as Key Account Manager in the Marketing & Sales area of the Saab Aerostructures company. After some years, he was assigned the Airbus account and during the upcoming years, Mr Falk was responsible for bringing in and finalizing among others the A380 Mid Outer Leading Edge, the A320 Aileron Assemblies and the A400M Crew Entrance Doors. From 2009 he is the Vice President and Head of the Business Development, Marketing and Sales for the Commercial Business within Saab Aerospace Systems, from which role he has continued to develop the relationship with the OEMs and has been responsible for the recent won contracts with Airbus and Boeing. In his role he oversees the market dynamics, market analyses, customer interfaces and negotiations. In 2018 he was leading the Saab team in the search for and selection of the site in the US, where the Saab portion of the T-7 will be manufactured.
Before joining Saab, Mr Falk had a position as a Key Account Manager in the automotive industry for the company Donnelly-Hohe GmbH & Co.Kg in Collenberg(Bavaria) in Germany. He entered this position after graduating from the Linköping University, where he studied Economics, Marketing and German/French language with an MBA as a final title.
Mr Falk is born 1967, has a fiancée and three kids aged 27(boy), 20(girl) and 18(boy). In the spare time, he enjoys spending time with the family, travelling, jogging, skiing, doing adventures(Reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro 2017 was amazing) and being soccer-coach for the local men’s team. He is also huge fan of the UK soccer-team Arsenal FC.
